Our Salesian Spirituality, as well as our style of pastoral action, is based on Don Bosco’s practical method which stresses reason, religion, and loving kindness to everyone. This spirituality and method is what binds everyday life with a tie of deep faith. Untiring work does not frighten us, and we are flexible and capable to adapt to changing needs. Yes, youth ministry is challenging, yet through our characteristic of a family spirit, we have a trustful and optimistic outlook on life. We accompany young people with patient kindness as we journey together in holiness.

Understanding and recognizing the Salesian charism involves understanding and recognizing the gifts of the Holy Spirit, given to St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello for the mission of educating and promoting the young.
The Oratory Model
The Oratory Model is based on the experience of the Home, School, Church, and Playground. In everything, St. John Bosco sought to make these elements come alive.
Preventive System
St. John Bosco had a comprehensive concept of education. The Preventive System is based on three keys: Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness.
Family Spirit
The Salesian Family Spirit is rooted in St. John Bosco’s appreciation and imitation of the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales. Francis' down to earth approach caught the heart of Don Bosco in creating a family spirit amongst youth.
