Invoking the Spirit
Day 1

God in our midst,
   living, breathing,
     calling us to life
     calling us to depth
     calling us to communion.

It is He whom we have seen
   have touched
   and have known—
     the very source of our life.

It is this life that we encounter
   in the lectio of daily living
   as in contemplatio
   we discretio His gracious will for each of us.

This encounter then brings the
     actio of life
     to communion with each other
     and with the young.
